Beverly and Josh

Talk about online love! Beverly French met Josh Lovell on eHarmony in April 2013. The couple began their first week together with a five-hour FaceTime that was soon followed by several successful dates at Satellite Bar and Lounge in downtown Wilmington. Bev and Josh dated for 10 months after that, and then Josh popped the question in February 2014. The proposal was planned to include the couple"s "zoo?"--two golden retrievers, one black lab, and one cat. With Dixie, Chloe, Mason, and Bella present, Josh got down on one knee. "You're the one I've been looking for," he said to Beverly. The wedding date was set: March 7, 2015.

Beverly chose the Brooklyn Arts Center to host her wedding ceremony and reception, and she and Josh were married under the stars in the BAC's romantically lit courtyard. Melanie Parker, Beverly's close friend and partner in top local wedding planning firm A Pop of Pretty Events, coordinated the entire day to perfection.

Beverly's wedding party included Tara Tatum, maid of honor, and seven bridesmaids sparkling in Carolina blue, navy blue, and gold. Gold stars dotted the service, and Beverly's bouquet, by Eco Chic Blossoms, held pale blue flowers and ivory roses. Her father walked her down the aisle, her elegant chiffon dress just to the floor. A satin waistband and white beading accented her waist, and her hair was draped gently away from her face in a soft up-do. Kevin Martin officiated the ceremony in front of 190 friends and family. Millie Holloman Photography documented the night, and Matt Davis of Life Stage Films captured the unforgettable moments. "Everybody told me I smiled the entire night! I just couldn't stop. I was so happy," Beverly says.

The party moved inside to the Brooklyn Arts Center's magnificent church for a reception catered by Milner's Cafe & Catering. Charles Echols, with Active Entertainment, supplied the music for the evening, which included the newlywed's first dance to Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud," and an "aww"-inspiring Daddy-daughter dance to Tim McGraw"s "My Little Girl."

Everyone danced the night away and then sent Mr. and Mrs. Lovell off with a sparkling sparkler exit. The couple honeymooned for six days in Jamaica, relaxing on the beach, snorkeling, and enjoying a couple's massage.

The bride and groom currently reside in Ogden with their "zoo." Josh works as a yearbook sales representative for Balfour, and Beverly continues to co-own A Pop of Pretty Events, planning pretty weddings and parties everywhere.
