Paula Poundstone is one of comedy’s most beloved voices, known for her sharp observational humor and quick, improvisational wit. She tours nationally, hosts the popular podcast Nobody Listens to Paula Poundstone, and is a regular panelist on NPR’s Wait, Wait… Don’t Tell Me. You may also recognize her as the voice of “Forgetter Paula” in Inside Out and Inside Out 2.
Her career spans multiple HBO specials—including Cats, Cops and Stuff, which earned a CableACE Award for Best Comedy Special—and historic milestones like becoming the first female comic to host the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. She’s covered major political events for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and appeared during the 93rd Emmy Awards.
Paula has starred in two television series, released five comedy albums, and authored The Totally Unscientific Study of the Search for Human Happiness, a Thurber Prize semifinalist and Audie Award finalist audiobook.
